troff in the twenty-first century

meta is a macro package for groff I working on for a while. It was designed as an experiment to see whether it was possible to make groff user friendly to people who aren't used to software from the 1970s.

meta is an unfinished work in progress. While it's useable for fairly basic text outputting, a lot of the fancy features have yet to be implemented. And there's no documentation beyond the example document below. But it should be useful, and the experiment was certainly a success...
